Don't worry! Changes in your dog's stool consistency are normal when dogs are fed a freshly cooked diet.
During a transition to a fresh diet, the bacteria and amount of nutrients are different in the intestinal tract, which means dogs may have looser stools and go more frequently.
Once stools are firmer and less frequent, this is a great sign, because it means your dog has adapted to digesting the nutrients in a fresh diet.

Minor stool changes are not a problem, but if you notice behavioral changes or persistent stool changes, then please talk to your veterinarian about the possibility of an underlying disease or disorder.
