How should I store my dog's NomNomNow?

Weekly subscribers

If you are receiving NomNomNow deliveries on a weekly schedule, you can simply store your dog's fresh NomNomNow in your fridge!

Upon receiving your NomNomNow delivery, simply remove the meal packs from the box and liner, and place them directly in your fridge! The meal packs will stay safe for one week in your fridge.

For safest storage, we suggest storing meal packs in the body of your fridge where they will be coldest (not on the door or in a drawer), and ensuring that your fridge is 40° F or colder per FDA recommendations for safe food storage.

Monthly subscribers

If you are receiving NomNomNow deliveries on a monthly schedule, you will be storing some food in your fridge, and some in your freezer. We ship all of our food fresh, and never frozen, but food will only stay fresh in the fridge for a week due to the fact that we don't use any artificial preservatives.

Upon receiving your NomNomNow delivery, please remove 14 meal packs from the box and liner, and place them directly in your fridge.

For safest storage, we suggest storing meal packs in the body of your fridge where they will be coldest (not on the door or in a drawer), and ensuring that your fridge is 40° F or colder per FDA recommendations for safe food storage.

Place the rest of your dog's meal packs in your freezer!

When you have served all of your fresh meal packs, begin to move frozen meal packs over from your freezer to your fridge. It will take 24-48 hours for meal packs to defrost in your fridge.

For safest storage, please make sure your freezer is 30° F or below.

Emergency meals

Your dog's emergency meals should be stored in your freezer, and used in case of emergency. Because they are vacuum-sealed, they will last for 6 months in your freezer. If you do not need to use them within 6 months, then we recommend switching them out with fresher meal packs every 6 months.
